Village Hall Management Committee meeting 23/08/2022



Defibrillator – draft policy circulated – to be agenda item for next Parish Council meeting.

“Guardian” and deputy to be appointed by Management Committee if policy approved and adopted by council.

Training to be organised when refurbishment of hall completed.


Music licence – quote obtained -  £139.20 inc. V.A.T (annual renewal) - to run from 1/10/2022 for all and any music played on the premises – approved by Management Committee to be actioned -  to be agenda item for next Parish Council meeting.


Car Park in playing field – L.W.C.S, contacted re grant. Quotes for works and applications to be completed either by the end of November 2022 for completion of project by end of February 2023 -  or early 2023 for submission end of April 2023 – new grant funding available from May 2023. To be agenda item for next Parish Council meeting.


Hall capacity – to be confirmed - 30 or 50. Number of chairs to be purchased depending on capacity.


Contractors schedules


Electrician hopefully w/c 29/08/2022  – they will confirm Thursday 25/08/2022.


Decorator 9th & 10th 12th & 13th September 2022 – paint choices approved.


Flooring – sample approved – fitting by contractor 21st & 22nd September 2022,


Window coverings – white shaped shutters approved – one quote obtained (£1800 ) more suppliers booked (25th &26thAugust 2022) – 12 /13 week delivery.


Kitchen – committee approved purchase of equipment by appointed members - to include new fridge and freezer. Rhodes Market Rasen to be approached.


Food Hygiene requirements for events to be investigated.


Toilet – committee approved purchase of remaining equipment by appointed members. Baby  change unit design approved.


Bookings for hall and equipment -  booking secretary and deputy to be appointed. Form to be sourced and hire charges to be determined. Further research to be carried out and costings calculated. Form to be available on village website and lincscommunitybuildings.org.uk/venues website when approved. To be agenda item for next Parish Council meeting.


Acis to be contacted again and photos sent re safety issues for neighbouring tenant following works to remove soil adjacent to hall by their appointed contractors.


Breast cancer fundraising coffee morning – date and times to be decided by organisers on completion of hall renovations.
