A new vacancy has occurred for a Parish Councillor. If you'd like to be involved in what goes on in the village, consider becoming a Councillor.

The council meets once every three months for 1-2 hours to discuss local issues. Councillors are also invited to sit on other committees within the Council such as the Village Hall Committee, Community Field Committee, Emergency Planning Committee or the Finance Committee. Whatever your background or expertise your help is welcome. Councillors are volunteers who listen to the needs of parishioners and believe in doing what is best for the village.

If you wish to be considered to be part of our active and enthusiastic team of volunteers, please send a CV and a letter, explaining why you think you would be good for the role, to the Parish Clerk at claxbyparishcouncil@gmail.com.
